Uniform Brochure 2026

At Ffynone House, we want our students to feel proud of themselves and their school; a smart uniform is integral to this. We ask both parents and students to adhere strictly to our uniform requirements. In return, school staff will enforce uniform rules consistently. Parents will be contacted if students are not meeting uniform expectations.

A smart, prescriptive uniform:

• Creates a shared identity for pupils from age 4 to 18.
• Illustrates the high standards that set Ffynone House apart as Swansea’s only independent school.
• Removes uncertainty when choosing appropriate school clothing.
• Diminishes opportunities for peer pressure and judgements around clothing.

We have avoided using high-end uniform suppliers to keep costs as low as possible for our parents.

For all students:

• Coats – everyday coats should be navy or black with no prominent branding.
• Navy, black or flesh coloured tights, plain black socks.
• All footwear should be plain black, smart trainers or boots are acceptable (with black soles and no prominent branding).
• Jewellery – plain stud earrings; no other facial piercings are permitted. Religious jewellery is permitted but should be concealed beneath clothing.
• Bags for secondary – navy or black with no prominent branding.
• Secondary students are permitted to wear light, natural makeup and nail polish. Students will be asked to remove this if it is deemed to be inappropriate by a member of staff.

Sixth Form (Years 12–13)

Sixth Form students enjoy a more mature dress code while maintaining the professional standards expected within the school. Required:
